A rumble of hounds in an overfull Trunkrider cruise through town in a show of futile force. But who cares? It is loud. It is fun. They are all together. And the night - as always in Alveridge - is magical!

Check out the sheer delight of the basket houndling! And all bets are off on how long the wee fellow with the too big bike will last, but, for now, he is a fully fledged hero.

A Howlerphone breathes low and sultry, the whisper of brushes on snare, the wicked back-beat rumbles from Mick's Trumanean bass, and over this, LD is weaving his unique Juke Hound guitar riffs that echo with sounds of mountains large and powerful, distant and near. No wonder those pesky cats have come in to hear.

About Ivan Clarke & Lonely Dog

Ivan Clarke is an internationally recognised New Zealand artist based in Queenstown, with work exhibited and represented through galleries in New Zealand, Australia, the US and the UK. He is best known today for Lonely Dog — the whimsical world of Arthur “Lonely Dog” Snout and the hounds and cats of Port Alveridge — with his Lonely Dog Legacy Collection spanning over 200 original artworks. Several pieces, including the bronze sculptures, were produced in collaboration with the world-famous Wētā Workshop.
