Invercargill Op Shop | 106 Spey Street, Invercargill

Dunedin Op Shop | 166–168 Hillside Road, Dunedin

Orphans Aid International has two well stocked, well run Op Shops. One in Dunedin and one in Invercargill – New Zealand.

Our Op Shops are treasure troves filled with incredibly good donated items, and a lot of new items. Everything you can imagine from Sports Gear to Scarves, Fair Trade items to Fishing rods, Household Goods to Hair Accessories, Books to Baskets, Furniture and Furnishings, Clothing and Curtains plus loads of gift ideas!!

Our Invercargill Shop was launched at the time of the 2005 Tsunami and has been funding needs ever since. The Dunedin Shop began in 2010. We also run a Trade Me store with new items being uploaded regularly. There are some very unique items that pass through our Trade Me Store.

The purpose of our Op Shops is:

1] To provide excellent quality goods at low affordable prices.

2] To fundraise and provide resources for our projects both overseas and in NZ.

The shops are run almost totally by Volunteers. We are very thankful to the dedication and hard work of our Volunteers who make this possible. We’d love you to visit either store, come in and help support the cause. You’ll definitely find some bargains!

Can you help?

Can you donate some clean, quality items of clothing? Some household goods?

We’re also always looking for top quality items to sell at our shops.  We’ll accept almost anything as a donation to helping children in need. The community has donated some amazing stock and its always interesting to see what is arriving daily. If you know businesses or individuals needing to get rid of quality items please don’t forget to mention Orphans Aid! A huge thanks to individuals, businesses and groups that have supported in this way.
