Orphans Aid International not only helps orphaned and needy children in developing countries but also assists NZers in particular situations involving children we identify.
We currently have two Op Shops in NZ one in Invercargill at 35 Tay St and one in Dunedin at 168 Hillside Road. These shops are run by over 40 volunteers!
The purpose is twofold, helping locals to find good quality, low priced essential items such as clothing, bedding, household items and raising funds to provide food vouchers locally and funds to assist the orphanage work in Romania, Russia, India and Nepal.
Every week funds are poured back into local needs, helping NZers with practical assistance, counselling and advice. Every week valuable dollars are raised to help us feed and care for children locally and globally who would otherwise go hungry.
We need help with items to sell and donate in both our Op shops, good quality clean clothing and household items are always needed. Please drop them in to either shop or into our Queenstown office.
Please call in and browse there are excellent items coming in weekly from generous donors, currently we have gear coming through form the ski fields. Please visit us also for Fair Trade products.
We also fundraise through our Trade Me store where we hold regular charity auctions. Please let us know if you could assist us with a top quality item to auction.

Great news one of the children from our home in Romania has just been adopted out the 4th one this year to find a great family.
We're about to send out an annual report, please email us if you'd like to be added to our database. We need all the help we can get!!
